            Naduvannur Grama Panchayat is a Grama Panchayat in the Balussery block of Koyilandy taluk of Kozhikode district. The Panchayat came into existence in 1963. The area of ​​the Panchayat is 22.20 sq km. The boundaries of the Panchayat are Nochad and Arikulam Panchayats in the north, Kottoor Panchayat in the east, Ulliyeri and Arikulam Panchayats in the south, and Arikulam Panchayat in the west. Naduvannur is also the birthplace of Yogi Nithyananda Swamikal and O. Chandu Menon, the author of the first novel in Malayalam, Indulekha, which beautifully depicts the social life of Malabar. The first president of the Panchayat, which came into existence in 1963, was Mathathil Kunjipakki Sahib. Naduvannur is a Panchayat located almost in the middle of Kozhikode district. It is located almost equidistant from the hilly region and the coastal plain. This is a hilly area surrounded by fields. It can be seen that there is a slight slope from east to west. The panchayat starts from the areas of Vallora Mala and Cholamala in the east. Vallora Mala and Echil Mala are the 2 highest hills in the panchayat. Apart from these, Iruvatt Kunnu, Chengott Para, Alembra Kunnu, Udumbaramala, Pulparakkunnu, and Mappattakkunnu are also the highest areas in the panchayat. The Ramapuzha river also flows in the south of the panchayat. The field below Koyambaram was famous for paddy cultivation. Traditional seeds were used. Naduvannur was the playground of adventurous archers, hunters, and bull-riding competitors. Ankakalari and Parambinkaud tell the stories of the Kalari practices of the past. The famous Kalaris in Kavunthara, Mandankavu and Naduvannur were also centers for mystical healing. There were also excellent Chaturanga players in the grama panchayat. The panchayat has a great culture that unites people with different customs and beliefs. Naduvannur was a hotbed of artistic and sports activities related to agricultural culture. The bullock cart competition and the chicken race here were famous. This village is rich in various folk arts. Theyyam, Thira, Kolkkali, etc. are among them. There are artists who are skilled in Kuthirakolam, Dafmuttu, etc. in this grama panchayat.
